British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs.
The TWJP E is an electro-acoustic guitar with a compact Parlor body from the Java Series. The instruments in this series offer a semi-massive body construction consisting of a solid cedar front and a back and sides made of plywood with a distinctive pattern - ebony amara/makasar on the sides and wings of the back and a central wedge-shaped section of the back made of spalted mango. Twenty frets divide the fingerboard surface made of modern composite material. The strings are held in tuning mechanisms in a classic design (slotted headstock) and a composite fingerboard.
Sound reinforcement is provided by Fishman Presys electronics with a three-band equalizer and built-in tuner.
