British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs. The TW4 E KOA is an electroacoustic guitar of the "Super Folk" type, i.e. an instrument with a narrower and shallower body, from the Winterleaf Exotic series.
The body of the instrument is made of fancy koa, the soundboard is made of solid wood, the back and sides are made of plywood. Twenty-one frets divide the ebony-finished Eboncore composite fingerboard. A practical lower body cutout makes it easier to play at the higher positions of the fingerboard.
Sound reinforcement is provided by Fishman Presys electronics with a three-band equalizer and built-in tuner. The strings are mounted in chrome tuning machines and a composite headstock. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the Autumn Burst Gloss finish on the top, the center strip on the back and the company logo on the headstock.
