AQ2 is a professional drum series with new construction and design concepts. The all-maple bodies consist of seven layers and are made using the CLTF method, where the layers are stacked at a 90-degree angle. Maximum sensitivity and projection are guaranteed by the sanded edges at a 45-degree angle. New features include the use of TuneSafe technology on the cast shells for precision tuning, longer sustain and a full sound, and the new SmartMount tom mounts to maximise resonance.
