The Sigma SDR-40 is a full-massive dreadnought-type acoustic guitar from the Custom series, which is sure to appeal to even professional guitarists with high demands in terms of quality of workmanship, playability and sound.
The guitar's soundboard is made of solid Sitka spruce, the back and sides of solid Indian rosewood. The combination of these woods guarantees a clear sound with warm bass and great dynamic response. The high standard of the components used is confirmed by the mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard.
The strings are anchored in Grover Die-Cast mechanisms in gold finish. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle guarantee ideal vibration transmission of the strings. The beautiful workmanship is accentuated by traditional decorative elements in the form of a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell, rosettes, distinctive mother-of-pearl position markers on the fingerboard, peripheral body trim complemented by a black line and the company logo on the headstock.
The guitar comes in a handy soft case.
