The Sigma DT-45 is a semi-massive acoustic guitar from the Standard series with a large resonant Dreadnought body, which will please even players with high demands in terms of quality of workmanship, sound and playability.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, the back and sides of plywood. This gives the guitar a sonorous, frequency-balanced sound and good dynamic response in both vigorous and very quiet, subtle playing. This makes played chords, chord breakdowns and fast solos sound great.
The guitar's mahogany neck is glued to a Micarta composite fingerboard with 20 frets, and orientation across its surface is facilitated by pearl (Abalone) position blocks in the shape of a hexagon. The strings are mounted in Grover's high quality gold open-coil movement with Butterbean keys and a micarta headstock. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle ensure ideal vibration transmission of the strings. The high standard of workmanship is emphasized by decorative elements in the form of double-sided perimeter trim complemented by a mother-of-pearl tab, mother-of-pearl rosette, centre strip on the back plate and the company logo in gold on the headstock.
