The mandolin's soundboard is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated maple. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets adjoins the maple neck, with position markers for orientation across its surface.
The strings are mounted in a nickel-plated brass stringset, open tuning machines are used for tuning. The zero fret is made of Graph Tech's TUSQ artificial ivory, and the instrument's lacquer is protected by a pickguard.
The mandolin is supplied in a case.
Instruments of the Canadian company Seagul are very popular among players for their playing and sound qualities. The mandolin of the mentioned brand is no exception in this respect.
