Sandberg California TT electric basses are instruments based on the time-honoured Jazz Bass design concept. Like other Sandberg instruments, these are made in Germany from premium materials by a team of highly experienced guitar builders.
The body of this bass is made from premium swamp ash in a glossy Translucent Black finish. The neck is turned from Canadian maple. It is bolted down with six screws that keep it in a completely accurate position. The fingerboard is made of Pau Ferro wood and features 22 frets. The positions on the fingerboard are marked with characteristic rectangles. The gauge of the instrument is 864 millimetres.
The guitar is equipped with two single-coil pickups with Alnico5 magnets. The volume potentiometer, balance between the pickups and tone shutter can be used to adjust the sound.
The fingerboard is typically solid with separate stones and made by Sandberg. On the other side of the bass we find Sandberg tuning machines.
