Quiet kick trigger pedal for playing V-Drums

One of the many reasons drummers love V-Drums is the ability to plug in headphones and play quietly without disturbing the surroundings, something that is not possible with acoustic drums. However, while playing the V-Drums' mesh pads is acoustically almost inaudible, the kick trigger pad used, which consists of a standard pedal and beater, produces audible beats even with the sound turned down. If this poses a problem where you need to play and practice, then the KT-10 is a great alternative. Thanks to its innovative reverse action trigger mechanism, the pedal produces approximately 75% weaker strikes in the room you're playing in (according to Roland tests), while maintaining authentic playability and a stable feel. The KT-10 is compatible with any V-Drums sound module equipped with 1/4" trigger inputs.

The Roland TM-2 Trigger Module is the perfect partner in this hybrid application, featuring sound banks and inputs for a variety of Roland pads, pedals and triggers, including the KT-10. Plugging the KT-10 into the trigger input of a Roland device is quick and easy, requiring only a single cable.

You can determine the response of the pedal by changing the weight in the beater mechanism or by moving it to another slot, or by hanging the spring in another position, so you can easily change the tension of the pedal.
