The PreSonus brand has introduced a practical innovation designed for traveling or home studios and bedroom producers. ioStation 24c was created by combining a pair of proven products - the Faderport DAW controller and the Studio 24c sound card. The single device thus offers a 100 mm long motorized fader, a large 360° rotary knob, a total of 27 function buttons (Mute, Solo, Rec, transport buttons, loop settings, marker recording, switching work windows or channel selection, etc.), and a wide range of functions.) for fast and intuitive DAW work, but also a 24-bit/192 kHz USB-c audio interface with two combined XLR mic/instrument/line inputs fitted with XMAX preamps, a pair of balanced TRS outputs and a separate headphone output with its own volume control.
Power is handled by an external power supply, there is also a foot controller input (start/stop triggering) and of course HUI and Mackie Control protocol support. Included with the ioStation 24c is the full-featured PreSonus Studio One Artist production and recording software.
