You'll always recognize Ovation acoustic guitars at first sight. They have a typical arched body made of a special Lyrachord material. This is not only very durable, but also provides the guitar with sufficient volume and acoustic strengths. In addition, it is ergonomically shaped so that the guitar fits well in your hand.
The 12-string model 2758AX-NEB's soundboard is made of solid Sitka spruce of AA quality. The resonance of the top is enhanced by the placement and shape of the laser-cut soundholes and the reduced X-type ribbing of the front plate. The rest is a deep contour arched body made of hi-tech Lyrachord material.
An ebony fingerboard is glued to the five-piece mahogany and maple neck. An interesting feature is its beveled design, with seventeen frets on the thickest bass string, while the thinnest string has five more frets. The strings are held in an ebony fingerboard and chrome-plated company die-cast mechanics. The instrument's stylish design is accentuated by decorative soundhole tabs on the soundboard, imitation ivory perimeter binding and a New England Burst finish.
The guitar is equipped with OP-PRO electronics with three-band equalizer, built-in tuner and Ovation OCP-1K pickup.
