The Ortega Horsekick is a digital percussive effect that is suitable for rhythm accompaniment, for example when playing guitar. It contains five percussion sound samples - tambourine, cabasa, cowbell, bass drum, bass cajon sound. The sound is heard whenever you step on the pedal, and the effect is pressure sensitive so you can work with dynamics as well.
A handy feature of this effect is the ability to plug an instrument directly into it and use the volume control to mix in the level of percussive sound you need to hear from the combo. The instrument signal is not affected in any way when passing through the effect. A power adapter is included.
