The English brand Origin Effects represents another interesting concept in the field of contemporary manufacturers of hand made pedal effects. Unlike many other products, Origin Effects pedal effects do not refer to the past and boutique design, but reflect the needs of contemporary musicians in terms of functionality and durability. Each product undergoes a complex process (from hand soldering and assembling the individual components, calibration with an audio analyzer, fitting into a durable brushed steel chassis, testing the final product with a guitar/bass, to an output check confirmed by a handwritten serial number on the box). The Cali76 Compact Deluxe is a studio-quality FET guitar compressor inspired by the 1176 compressor/peak limiter, providing your tone with natural musical compression. In a compact pedal effect body, it features a discrete Class A circuit with ultra-low noise, high input impedance, silent switching and maximum clarity controls.

Setting the DRY control allows you to combine the post-compression signal with a clean (dry) signal - so your tone gains the fullness and increased sensitivity of compression, while not losing the natural attack and dynamics so necessary for good feel when playing along the way. A second set of controls (RATIO, ATTACK, RELEASE) let you fine-tune your guitar tone exactly to your liking - from subtle transparent compression to a sound with a high level of compression and awesome singing sustain. The remaining controls determine the input signal strength (IN) and overall volume/output signal strength (OUT).

A three-color jewel LED indication will inform you of the actual compression level at any time. A 9-18V adapter is used to power the pedal effect.
