The Martin D-15M acoustic guitar with a large resonant dreadnought body is part of the 15 Series range of all-massive guitars with mahogany body and impressive satin finish. You'll appreciate the services of this instrument in live performance and studio work. The guitar comes in a carrying case, making it instantly ready to be loaded into your car/van for long or short trips to pursue your musical dreams.
With a solid mahogany body, the guitar excels in sonic warmth and a full, rich, tone. The standard X-type ribbing, which was developed by Martin in 1850 and is still used by most manufacturers today, ensures a full, solid sound.
A mahogany neck, which is attached to the body at the fourteenth fret as standard, is glued to an East Indian rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by pearl (Abalone) position markers and yellow dots on the sides. Precise tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the fit of the strings through the compensated saddle and bone zero fret in open nickel mechanics and rosewood fingerboard with ebony pegs. The stylish look is accentuated by the imitation tortoiseshell pickguard, which also protects the instrument's lacquer from scratches.
