MARSHALL SC20H

The Marshall SC20H all-tube guitar amplifier from the Studio series is a scaled-down version of the famous Marshall JCM800 2203, whose sound defined the shape of hard rock and metal music in the 1980s. This UK handcrafted amp offers an authentic 'figure-of-eight' sound and equally simple controls in the form of a three-band EQ and Presence, Preamp Volume and Master Volume potentiometers. The two instrument inputs (High/Low Sensitivity) have also been retained, where, let's be honest, the vast majority of you will only be interested in the High jack, as it's through it that the path to the iconic hi-gain sound leads. The classic elements are complemented by a handy power reduction function (20/5 watts), so you'll be able to enjoy pure Marshall sound even at lower amp power.

The lack of built-in effects is compensated by the ability to connect external pedal effects via a switchable effects loop input/output. So simply add your favourite box to the mix, whether reverb or delay to accentuate solos, or (like the metal guitar crowds of the 80s and 90s) overdrive to achieve an even juicier pure metal hi-gain sound. On the rear panel you'll also find five outputs to external speakers (1x 16, 1x 8, 1x 4, 2x 8, 2x 16 ohms) and a DI output.
