The Mapex Saturn Evolution Polar White Lacquer drum set from the Saturn Evolution Maple series features a hybrid body made of 8 layers of maple and walnut (maple/walnut/maple) and the SoniClear attenuation system, which puts the membrane in better contact with the drum body for a more natural, colourful and fuller sound. Fitting the toms with the revolutionary HALO system opens the way to full resonance and allows the toms to sound open and clear.
The set includes a 22x18 big drum without flange (8.9 mm, 10 screws per side), a 10x8 tom (7.5 mm, 6 screws per side), a 12x9 tom (8.2 mm, 6 screws per side), 14x14 and 16x16 floor toms (8.2 mm, 8 screws per side), 2x MSSTC tom holders, Sonic Saver 2.3mm rims and REMO membranes (made in USA).
