The Monolith is a versatile overdrive/distortion pedal from British brand Laney that gives you complete control over the gain structure of your guitar sound. Whether you prefer indie rock drive, metal distortion or anything in between, this handy pedal offers it all.
The standard distortion adjustment options of the Distortion knob are extended by a three-position switch with three modes (Heavily Compressed Dist., Overdrive Dist., Soft Compressed Dist.), so you can fine-tune your guitar tone to match your requirements, the type of guitar pickups and the sonic character of your guitar. A three-colour LED informs you of the switch settings. The remaining potentiometers determine the output volume, the tonal character in the bass frequencies before distortion (Range) and the amount of treble (Tone).
In addition to the durable metal chassis, you'll appreciate the quiet pedal switching without distracting clicking or peeling. Power is supplied by a 9V adapter or 9V battery.
