The Kurzweil MPS M1 is a digital piano that delivers an authentic concert grand piano playing experience thanks to the German concert grand piano samples also found in the flagship K2700 and SP7 Grand instruments. Its next-generation A.T.S.T. (Authentic Timbre Synthesis Technology) sound engine brings advances in realism by supporting higher-resolution sound, smooth dynamics transitions and a 2x oversampling filter.
The MPS M1 features 88 keys with a fully weighted Italian hammered-key drive (Fatar TP110) with adjustable sensitivity, providing an authentic playing feel. It also offers a significant 256-voice polyphony for seamless playing.
This instrument also features a carefully selected library of sounds that includes not only samples of German grand piano, but also electric pianos, strings and other instruments. The resonance of the strings and dampers combined with the keyboard samples provide natural piano tones. Combined with effects such as chorus or reverb, there are endless possibilities for creating inspiring sounds. In addition, the MPS M1 allows the creation of flexible splits and layers with four independently programmable zones, has a built-in metronome and drum patterns for practice and accompaniment, and supports both MIDI and Bluetooth audio for wireless connection of smart devices. The user interface with OLED display simplifies access to all system functions, and the 48W sound system with four speakers provides quality audio output.
A sustain pedal, music stand, USB cable and power adapter are included.
