The second-generation Volca sample is a compact and powerful sample-based drum machine that has captured the attention and creativity of countless players around the world. The latest version retains all the features that made the original so popular and adds a micro USB port for better connectivity, larger sample memory, a new state-of-the-art sound library and other features for even better workflow options.
Your portable beat-making studio
Volca sample has everything you need to make the music you love, in a pocket-sized package you can take anywhere! At its core, it's an advanced sampler with powerful 8-voice polyphony, digital reverb, a powerful dual filter, and a multitude of sample editing knobs. The Volca sample runs on 6 AA batteries, has a built-in speaker and weighs only 372g (without batteries). Plus, with USB, SYNC IN-OUT and MIDI connectivity, the volca sample can be seamlessly integrated into your live setup, production studio and of course with any other volca!
USB for faster sample management and better connectivity
The new micro USB port added to the volca sample allows you to connect the volca sample to your PC, easily control it and manage your samples. With it you can easily control, sync and play your volca sample from any DAW. In addition, you can now assign individual MIDI channels to different parts, which makes it easier to play if you are using an external device such as a sequencer or keyboard.
Easier management of samples and patterns using your PC
With the special Volca archiving software (available for Mac and Win), the process of swapping samples and patterns both ways is now instant and painless. You can also use the dedicated AudioPocket Manager app for iOS to record new samples on the fly, and instantly transfer them to volca sample

Volca sample has expanded memory to 200 locations, twice as much as its predecessor. 50 spaces are for system setups, so you can upload either your own or ready-made libraries. The number of patterns has also been increased from 10 to 16. The new generation volca sample comes with a brand new sound library that has been carefully selected to meet the needs of all music producers and beatmakers. This great selection of 150 samples will take your production to the next level, allowing you to create tracks on the fly with sounds that fit every genre, including the latest ones like Future Bass, Trap, Lo-Fi Hip Hop and many more!
