The iRig was a revolutionary interface in its day, allowing you to connect your guitar to your mobile phone or tablet and use your favourite apps to play or record. Now comes the iRig2, which retains all the important features and adds a few improvements.
The first is adjustable input gain, which eliminates input signal strength issues from different guitars with different pickups. The second major improvement is that a 1" output jack has been added, allowing you to send the sound directly to a combo or mixer and use the iRig live. The output has a switch for processed and clean signals, so you can plug your guitar into a combo via iRig2 and use your phone for recording or as a tuner, for example.
The final improvement is the rear clip, which you simply thread through the supplied Velcro strap to conveniently attach the iRig2 to a mic stand.
