The body of the GRG 140 WH is made of poplar. The maple neck is glued to a purpleheart wood fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by white position dots.
The combination of three passive pickups with ceramic magnets, i.e. a cob humbucker and two single-coils, provides the guitar with the necessary sonic drive as well as a rather wide sonic arsenal. Standard adjustments to the sound settings can be made using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and five-position toggle switch.
The strings are mounted in the company's T102 tuning machines and tremolo.
