The front board of the Dreadnought AW417CE-OPS model is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of plywood veneered okoumé with an attractive wood grain. A pau ferro fingerboard fitted with 20 frets is glued to a wider neck (48 mm fret width) made of exotic nyatoh wood. White position dots facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.
Sufficient volume for the needs of public performance or playing with a band is provided by Ibanez AEQ-TP2 electronics with integrated tuner and Ibanez T-bar piezo pickups. Two outputs from the instrument, a balanced XLR and a traditional 6.3 mm jack, solve any problems with interconnecting cables and acoustic guitar jacks - you'll simply always be "ready".
Stable tuning and ideal resonance are guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings via the bone-compensated saddle and zero fret in the pau ferro tailpiece and the company's Die-Cast mechanics. Ibanez Advantage pegs offer advantages over standard models in terms of easy handling and firm string attachment. The instrument's design is enhanced by a wooden rosette and a practical black pickguard, which also protects the instrument's lacquer from scratches.
