The Hora company was founded in 1951 by master violin maker Roman Boianciuc, who first started violin making in the town of Reighin in northern Romania. Since then, this town has been inevitably linked to the production of musical instruments and today there are many companies operating in this field. Even after many years, however, Hora is the largest and most important of these, and is even the largest and oldest manufacturer of stringed instruments and guitars in Europe. Nowadays, the company's excellent reputation has already spread all over the world and its instruments are valued especially for their professional quality and traditional manufacturing processes.
