The body of the instrument is made of maple wood. The double varnish prevents moisture absorption and subsequent expansion of the wood. The harmonica also features stainless steel covers, forty-eight brass heads, 0.9 mm thick brass slices and a range of three and a half octaves. It uses Richter tuning.
Tremolo harmonicas are characterized by the division of one hole into two halves, with the harmonica slices slightly (a few cents) out of tune. The player then blows through both channels at the same time while playing, creating a tremolo effect. This type of harmonica is mainly used in folk and folk music, but it is certainly not suitable for blues (it does not allow the tone to bend).
