Gold Tone OB-150RF is a five-string banjo in the pre-war style, which will please even the most demanding banjo players with its quality of workmanship and sound. It is a banjo with a maple resonator (closed back plate), brass tone ring (Brass Flat Top) and a body made of three layers of maple tailored to country and bluegrass styles.
An 11-inch Remo HC Coated Topside is attached to the body using a tensioning system, i.e. a one-piece intermediate ring, a pressure ring and twenty-four hooks. The neck is maple, the rosewood fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-two frets. The OB-150RF (radiused fingerboard) model offers a twelve-inch fingerboard radius for more comfortable playing. The strings are held in GT Planetary tuning machines and over a maple and ebony fingerboard in a Terminator (Terminator). Nice workmanship is accentuated by the engraved armrest, ornate imitation mother-of-pearl position markers and Vintage Brown Satin finish.
