The guitar's construction consists of a solid mahogany body and also a solid Sitka spruce soundboard. The narrower mahogany neck is glued to a richlite composite fingerboard with twenty-two frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by position dots and inlays on the twelfth fret.
The instrument is equipped with LR Baggs active electronics with an Element piezo pickup, microphone and Seymour Duncan Lipstick neck pickup. The specially developed LR Baggs preamp offers separate volume controls for the piezo pickup and microphone, a three-band piezo pickup EQ, a fader with tape saturation function to add more brilliance and volume to the tone, and a phase switch. The magnetic pickup comes with volume and tone shutter potentiometers. Two guitar outputs (one purely for the magnetic pickup) extend the guitar's capabilities, where you can, for example, send the signal from the magnetic pickup to an electric guitar amp/combo and the signal from the other output directly to a PA or acoustic combo.
The guitar strings are mounted across the TusQ zero fret in closed tuning machines with a gear ratio of 18:1 (Bass side) and 26:1 (Treble side), on the other side in a richlite tailpiece.
The instrument is supplied in a softcase (Deluxe TRIC case).
