The Acoustic Solutions ASG-8 is a two-channel acoustic instrument combo designed for all songwriters and players of acoustic guitars and other acoustic instruments (not just strings). The combo is relatively lightweight (weighing in at 11.7 kg) and easily portable, yet it offers a respectable 120 watts of power from its eight-inch woofer and one-inch tweeter, so it can easily hold its own in smaller and larger club spaces. Thanks to the design, it can also be tilted and used, for example, as a stage speaker (you can send the signal directly to the sound engineer via the XLR DI output).
The combo offers two combined XLR/TRS inputs for instruments or microphones (thanks to the possibility of phantom power and condenser power), separate controls for both channels (Gain, Resonance, three-band EQ), built-in effects processor (Reverb effect complemented by one of the optional Echo, Flange, Chorus 1, Chorus 2 effects), the ability to play backing tracks from your phone or laptop thanks to Bluetooth compatibility (Bluetooth 4.0) or via Aux In, headphone output and footswitch input (not included). A useful feature is also the Mute button for quick instrument changes without annoying accompaniment chips.
