G&L USA Fullerton Deluxe Fallout - 3-Tone Sunburst

The USA Fullerton Deluxe Fallout 3-Tone Sunburst is an electric guitar with an offset body shape inspired by the SC-2 model from the 80s, which exudes the energy of punk bands and the indie scene in general. It features an alder body, a bolt-on narrower maple neck with a "Slim C" profile and a rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets (Jescar 57110). Position dots make the fingerboard easy to navigate.
The two pickups with alnico magnets, i.e. a humbucker and a P-90 neck, give the guitar a wide range of tones from predatory distortion to beautifully ringing clean sounds. The push/pull function of the tone shutter control allows you to unzip the humbucker coils and change the character of the sound purely to single-coil.
Tuning stability and good sustain are guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via the bone zero fret in the 12:1 ratio gears and Saddle Lock tailpiece, which prevents movement of the individual saddles and thus loss of sustain. Nice workmanship is accentuated by the stylish pickguard and headstock.
The guitar comes in a gig bag.
The G&L brand was founded in the late 70s and early 80s by Leo Fender, George Fullerton and Dale Hyatt. The design of electric guitars and basses with the G&L logo thus suggests what other world-famous brands might have looked like if Leo Fender had not got rid of the brand in the mid-1960s. Moreover, G&L's American-made guitars are still made in Fullerton on Fender Avenue, so they offer a piece of guitar history alongside stylish design and great sound.
