The body of the Les Paul Special Tribute Humbucker is made of mahogany. The thin finish in the form of a nitrocellulose lacquer allows the wood to breathe and improves the sonic qualities of the instrument. The maple neck is glued to a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two medium jumbo frets. The positioning of the fingerboard is facilitated by imitation mother-of-pearl dots.
The sound of the instrument is provided by two 490T/490R humbuckers known from Gibson models from the 1960s. Their character refers to vintage PAF pickups, only with less aggressive highs and more clarity in the midrange. The character of the sound can be adjusted using two volume potentiometers, two tone controls and a three-position pickup switch. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the string mounting in the compensated bridge and Vintage Deluxe tuning machines. The stylish design is accentuated by chrome hardware and a black five-ply pickguard.
The guitar comes in a gig bag with a set of accessories.
