MB 112 II
The MB model series represents an innovation among Gallien-Krueger MicroBass instruments. These are combos that are unique for their low weight, small size and at the same time sufficiently large power and high quality sound. Specifically, the MB 112 is a machine that features a 200 watt digital amplifier, from which the signal goes to a 12 inch speaker. Of course, it has a level-switchable input for active and passive instruments, a headphone output, an aux-input, an XLR DI-Out, and an output for an external MBP-series active speaker.
These elements, as well as the controls, are located on the top panel. To adjust the sound, there is first a Gain control, followed by a four-band EQ consisting of Treble, Hi-Mid, Lo-Mid and Bass potentiometers. The Contour and Limiter functions are also switched on the front panel.
