The Furch Rainbow range of acoustic guitars gives every guitarist the opportunity to build an instrument to their own specifications. The guitars are based on a top-quality all-solid body in a master grade finish, which can be complemented with many elements and accessories from all Furch "color" models (hence the name Rainbow series).

The front of the guitar is made of solid sinker redwood. This is wood cut from logs sunk during the North Carolina timber float, i.e. the logs were underwater for sometimes over a hundred years, giving it its impressive grain and unique characteristics. The back and sides are made of solid exotic ebony with a beautiful wood grain. The Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, a full-pore, high-gloss lacquer finish, enhances the acoustic properties of the guitars, providing excellent surface protection and accentuating the wood's natural texture. The Furch CNR System's two-way neck bracing adds strength, stability and durability. The excellent acoustic properties of the instrument are enhanced by the front and back plate tuning, normally only available on the top Red series.

The guitar's refined appearance is accentuated by the rosewood body, fingerboard and headstock binding, mother-of-pearl front panel inlaid with black and white lines, rosette in the form of two mother-of-pearl rings and ebony pegs with mother-of-pearl dots. The transparent pickguard lets the natural grain of the wood stand out while not affecting the resonance of the soundboard. The position markers (inlays) made of white mother-of-pearl facilitate orientation on the ebony fingerboard. Stable tuning is guaranteed by high-quality Gotoh 510 mechanisms in Cosmo Black finish with ebony rondelles.

At the customer's request, the guitar can be fitted with L.R. Baggs electronics. For more information about the price and model of electronics, please contact our customer line or specialists in the shop.

Few Czech products have such a worldwide reputation as Furch guitars. The company started in 1981 in one of the many garages of socialist Czechoslovakia, still illegal at the time. Today, the company's acoustic guitars are played by Suzanne Vega, Glen Hansard, David Knopfler, Aneta Langerová, David Koller, Xavier Baumaxa and many others. Furch guitars are best advertised by their reputation.
