FOCAL Alpha 50 Evo

The Alpha 50 Evo and Alpha 65 Evo studio monitors have been developed for music creation and reproduction of all kinds, ensuring excellent sound coherence wherever you listen. For even better performance, Focal has chosen a tweeter with an inverted aluminium calotte for wide sound dispersion, as well as a Slatefiber diaphragm. This recycled carbon diaphragm, manufactured exclusively in Focal's workshops in Saint-Étienne, France, was chosen for its neutrality and dynamic properties. Focal is constantly updating its range, drawing on its more than 40 years of experience in acoustics and its capacity for innovation. This is evidenced by the new large laminar vent that minimises distortion.

NEW FEATURES

Evo means evolution. In addition to analog XLR and RCA inputs, Alpha Evo monitors also boast a new TRS input (6.35mm jack), switchable auto standby and wall and ceiling mount inserts. Their versatility is therefore literally unsurpassed (mix, mastering, DJ, radio). In terms of amplifiers, each monitor is equipped with two Class D amplifiers. Thanks to their high current loading, you will have absolute control over the dynamics of the signal. They allow you to achieve high volume without any distortion. Each speaker is capable of capturing even the finest details in the mix, across all musical styles.

SPEAKER DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

The monitors feature a 15mm thick semi-rigid fibreboard speaker cabinet with internal bracing to ensure they are highly robust even at the highest sound pressure levels. The bassreflex design ensures easy acoustic integration even in the tightest of spaces. In terms of appearance, the traditional angular design of the monitors has given way to rounded shapes. The side panels create a sophisticated, robust and modern design that contributes to the excellent acoustic performance and unique harmonic character across all collections.

Alpha 50 Evo

Alpha 50 Evo features a 25 mm (1?) aluminium tweeter and a 13 cm (5?) woofer with a Slatefiber diaphragm manufactured in Focal's workshops in France. The monitor is characterised by excellent dynamic properties and neutral tonal balance. New technologies and features make the Alpha 50 Evo extremely versatile.
