The front of the guitalele is made of laminated spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated sapele, a wood botanically related to mahogany/real mahogany (which is why it is often referred to as sapele mahogany). The neck and fingerboard of the instrument are made of African okoumé and walnut, which is also a fairly commonly used combination of woods. The strings are anchored in classic tuning mechanisms (Open Geared) and a walnut fingerboard over a bone fretboard and saddle.
The Guitalele comes in a stylish gig bag.
The Slovenian brand Flight is another interesting name in the field of ukulele manufacturers. It offers a wide range of these popular compact instruments in classic and less traditional shapes and standard sizes. Beginning players and vagabonds with a musician's soul will be delighted by the well-crafted, more affordable ukulele models made from classic and exotic woods in natural and coloured finishes, or the Travel Series ukulele models with a durable plastic body. More demanding musicians and professional players can also choose from a selection of highly crafted semi-/full-size electroacoustic ukulele models.
