The American Custom Stratocaster NOS MAPLE Wide-Fade Chocolate 2-Color Sunburst electric guitar from the Fender Custom Shop is not only a beautiful instrument, but also represents the best of player-friendly specifications and Fender design.
The body of the guitar is made from two pieces of ash. This is an instrument made to similar specifications as the vintage originals, including the NOS (New Old Stock) finish, which is a completely new authentic finish of the originals from the 50s and 60s without the elements of artificial patina and signs of aging in the form of faded lacquer. And then, it's impossible to travel back in time!
The neck is made from a single piece of birdseye maple of AA quality. The fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-one jumbo (6100) frets and mother-of-pearl position dots. The combined radius offers both comfortable chord playing at the zero fret and comfortable fast playing at higher fret positions.
From the Custom Shop Dual-Mag hand-wound single-coil pickups (the middle one has reversed polarity and windings) to the Fat '50s 1/2 Blender Strat wiring, every detail was chosen to bring out the instrument's sonic qualities. Adjust the character of the sound using the standard controls. Stable tuning is assured by fitting the strings across the bone zero fret in the company's vintage-style mechanicals and synchronized Strat tremolo. The stylish finish is accentuated by the black aluminium pickguard and gold hardware.
The guitar is supplied in a case along with a strap and certificate of authenticity.
