ENGL Fireball 25

Engl Fireball tube amplifiers have a reputation as reliable metal hi-gain amplifiers suitable for players who demand a clearly articulated dynamic sound even with high distortion. After the 60W and the more powerful 100W model, the German brand comes to the market with a 25W unit that does not, however, compromise on the high standard of the range.

The FIREBALL 25 E633 is a two-channel amplifier that delights (like all Fireball models) with its clear controls. The sound range of the first channel (Clean) starts on a bright clean sound and ends on a rockier crunch. The second channel (Lead) picks up where the Clean channel leaves off, and continues into the realms of metallic ultra-hi gain. Many will also appreciate the ability to attenuate the sound thanks to the Power Soak control on the rear panel, where you can reduce the power output of the machine down to 1W. You will be able to enjoy the awesome "melted" sound of the amplifier even at room volume (the Power Soak function works only when an external speaker is connected via 8 ohms).

The character of the sound can be shaped using the three-band equalizer, the Presence control of the rear amplifier, or "kicked up" with the Mid Boost button (the function is footswitch-controlled). Many will appreciate the built-in Noise Gate with rear-panel knob, effects loop, line output and two footswitch inputs. Speakers with 8 and 16 ohm impedance can be connected to the amplifier.
