DARKGLASS e500

The new Exponent 500 bass amplifier from Darkglass is a very simple and intuitive device at its core, but under the hood it hides a huge amount of sonic variability and advanced features that even the most demanding bassists will appreciate. Although you can only use the amp on its own, its full potential is unlocked thanks to a free Bluetooth app, which you can then use to control up to 22 effects (with Darkglass promising that this number will be even higher), create and save presets, create complex output signal routing and much more.

On the minimalist front panel of this very compact amplifier, in addition to controls for master volume and input signal, you'll also find five potentiometers for controlling equalization, which you can assign to control any parameters you want when you connect an app. In addition, you'll also find a preset switch and a Mute function that also turns on the integrated tuner.

The rear panel is then equipped with the traditional Speakon connector for the speaker, an effects loop, headphone output and DI XLR output with ground switch, but also, for example, a USB-C connector, thanks to which the machine can be used as an interface when recording to a computer, or a footswitch input, which can be used as a 7-pin for Darglass switches, or as a 5-pin for any midi controllers.
