D'Angelico Excel Giacomo Turra Bedford SH is the signature model of the contemporary Italian funk guitarist from the higher Excel Series.
The guitar features a chambered mahogany body with a shaped F hole, which combines the acoustic qualities of solid and bay bodies. Glued to the maple neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. The neck's narrow C profile ensures smooth finger movement on the fingerboard and a comfortable fingerboard feel, while the fingerboard orientation is facilitated by mother-of-pearl position blocks.
The combination of a Supro Gold Field humbucker and two Supro T-Style single-coil pickups gives the guitar a wide range of awesome funk tones. Volume knobs, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch can be used to tame them. The body of the guitar is balanced by a stylish Art Deco headstock adorned with a mother-of-pearl corporate logo and inlay. The strings are held in Grover 109 Super Rotomatic tuners and a Wilkinson 6-point tremolo. The stylish finish is accentuated by a white five-ply pickguard and nickel hardware.
The guitar comes in a high quality gig bag.
