Cort acoustic guitars from the Luce series are an alternative to the popular Dreadnought models. These are smaller-bodied instruments in Orchestra, Concert and Parlor shapes that offer great playability and balanced sound.
The L300VF electroacoustic guitar combines the vintage design of the compact OM/Orchestra body developed in the 1920s with modern practical features. The front of the guitar is made of solid Adirondack spruce (used in high-end acoustic guitar models), while the back and sides are made of mahogany - solid mahogany back, laminated mahogany sides. The natural acoustic resonance of the wood is enhanced by a layer of UV varnish.
The mahogany neck is glued to an ovangkol fingerboard with 20 frets and positioning dots make it easy to navigate. The wider neck (45 mm at the zero fret) will suit guitarists who prefer to play with finger technique. Good sustain and tuning stability are guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings over the saddle and zero fret made of real buffalo bone in Grover mechanics and ovangkol headstock. The guitar's refined look is accentuated by a black and white ring rosette, a tortoiseshell body binding and a practical pickguard in Teardrop Wildcat Yellow.
Sound pickup is handled by a Fishman Sonitone preamp with discreetly placed drivers in the soundhole and a Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup.
