Cort's G Series features electric guitars with elements of classic ST models and the more modern Super ST body design. Thanks to their affordable price, they are sure to appeal to young aspirants of the rock craft, but they will not offend experienced, technically skilled players either.
The G280 Select TBK electric guitar is an upgrade of the older popular G280DX series. The alder body of the instrument is adorned with a spectacular veneer of figured maple and a pickguard of imitation mother-of-pearl. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets is glued to the maple neck. Not only fast players will be pleased with the comfortable Ergo-V neck profile and the combined radius of the fingerboard, which flattens towards the body - thus allowing comfortable playing of chord accompaniments and fast shred on higher pitches.
The combination of the company's Voiced Tone pickups, a higher output humbucker and two single-coils, gives the guitar a clean, transparent, tonal and punchy sound in overdrive/distortion settings. This allows the instrument to be used in a wide range of musical styles. The volume potentiometer, tone shield and five-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments.
The strings are anchored in the company's locking mechanism, which allows for quick string changes, and the company's tremolo with steel saddles.
