CORT Core-GA Blackwood OPLB

The Cort Core Series is a range of well-crafted electro-acoustic guitars with solid body construction and a more restrained design, where the ornamental elements are fully compensated by the natural acoustic sound, good playability and affordable price for solid body guitars.

The CORE-GA Blackwood OPLB is a Grand Auditorium type electroacoustic guitar with a blackwood body. The resonance of the solid body is enhanced by the hand-reduced ribbing of the top (Hand Scalloped-X) and the Open Pore finish.

A 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck. Good matching at the higher positions of the fingerboard is facilitated by the lower cut-out of the body (Venetian). Stable tuning is ensured by the string attachment via the zero and saddle frets made of genuine buffalo bone in the company's Die-Cast mechanisms with black pegs and ovangkol headstock.

Easy voicing options are provided by Fishman Sonitone electronics with a Sonicore sub-coil pickup and Volume and Tone controls located in the instrument's soundhole. The guitar is supplied in a high-quality case (Cort Deluxe Soft-Side Case) that combines the best features of cases with the practicality of padded gig-bags.
