BOSS GT-1B

The GT-1B is a handy bass multieffect from Boss that offers a wide range of effects and sound modification options in a lightweight, compact body. It is an ideal choice for live performance and lightweight situations; its light weight and practical design means you can easily place it in your bass's gig bag without worrying about damaging the case/tool. An adapter or four AA batteries are used for power; so the multi-effect can be at your fingertips virtually anywhere.

The multieffect offers 198 presets (99 company, 99 user) and 90 effects. Choose from a wide range of preamps and effects (delay, reverb, modulation, limiter, distortion, harmonist, bass synth, defretter, graphic EQ, looper, etc.). To control them, there are buttons and three knobs that can be scrolled through within each preset section (sounds can be edited, of course).

Three footswitches and an expression pedal are used to control a wide range of functions; i.e. switching between presets, controlling the looper, volume, wah and pitch schifter effects or tap-tempo/effects on/off functions. An external footswitch/expression pedal can be connected to the multieffect. Thanks to the USB interface, you can record directly into your DAW. Additional sounds and editing software can be downloaded for free from the Boss Tone Central online database.
