BOSS DD-200

The pedal effects of the Japanese brand Boss 200 series build on the success of the larger models with the 500 label, whose qualities are translated into a smaller, more pedalboard-friendly format. All effects in the series offer top-notch sound thanks to 32-bit/96kHz converters.

The Boss DD-200 Digital Delay is a flexible pedalboard effect with twelve delay effect types/modes - from ultra-clean digital, authentic simulations of analog echoes, retro RE-201 Space Echo and Binson Echorec 2 sounds to reverse delays, lo-fi tones and modern pulsing rhythmic sounds. The shape and form can be tweaked at will and changed beyond recognition using the five standard controls (Time, Feedback, E. Level, Tone, Mod Depth) and the Param potentiometer, whose function (parameter controlled) varies based on the selected effect type.

In the case of the DD-200 effect, you will appreciate the multi-function footswitches to the maximum, where, in addition to switching the effect off/on, it offers the Tap Tempo function (with rhythmic subdivisions in intervals of half, quarter and eighth notes and their variations with dot and in triplet), Looper with 60 seconds of recording time capacity and the possibility of assigning additional functions (Hold, Warp). The right footswitch can also be used to switch between the four memories, into which you can easily save and then recall your favourite presets.

The DD-200 doesn't lag behind when it comes to external controller interfacing and integration options either - mono/stereo inputs and outputs are complemented by a connector for connecting an external footswitch/expression pedal and Midi In/Out, so you can interconnect pedals from the 200 series and control different parameters simultaneously. The Micro USB interface is used for software updates.

The box, like all pedals in current Boss production, operates in Buffered Bypass mode. Power is supplied by a 9V adapter (not included) or three AA batteries.
