The DC-2W Dimension C Waza is a new version of the popular Boss DC-2 analogue chorus. It is a great choice for players who need to add more depth and space to their sound and take it to the next level. The optional mono/stereo connection offers a wide range of possibilities to use the box with various instruments (guitar, bass, keys, strings, vocals) and studio equipment/mixes.
As with all products in the Boss Waza Craft range, premium analogue components and buffers have been used in the manufacture of this box to achieve maximum sound quality. Connoisseurs of the original DC-2 will be pleased with the familiar design with four simple knobs, where mechanical buttons have been replaced by electronic switches with LEDs. The four basic sound modes of the original, i.e. different settings for the depth and spatiality of the effect modulation sound, are expanded in the new version by the ability to combine two effects by pressing two buttons at the same time, and two selectable modes, Standard and SDD-320. In total, you can set up twenty different sounds on the pedal.
The Standard mode sonically replicates the original from the 1980s, i.e. it offers four forms of the analogue chorus effect and six combinations. The second SDD-320 mod goes even further back in time, citing the very original Roland SDD-320 Dimension D studio rack chorus, whose sound can be heard on countless recordings and famous radio hits.
All of the box's electronics are housed in a durable metal chassis. A 9V battery or 9V adapter is used to power the pedal.
