BOSS Blues Driver BD-2W from the Waza Craft edition is an extended version of the well-known Blues Driver overdrive effect. The pedal effect in a new coat, which was perfected by experienced Japanese experts, respects the musical development and offers wider sound possibilities compared to the original models.
The pedal effect offers two modes - in the Standard mode you get the classic BD-2 sound, the Custom mode brings a fuller, bigger tone with longer sustain. The box also boasts greater dynamic sensitivity compared to its predecessor, so it will please all skilled players with decent technique looking for a successful simulation of the tube sound.
The Blues Driver BD-2W, like all pedals in current Boss production, operates in Buffered Bypass mode. It is powered by a 9V battery or 9V adapter (adapter not included).
The letter W at the end of the pedal name refers to the name of the edition - Waza Craft. It is a special series of effects that were developed under the strictest supervision of the most experienced sound experts of the entire Boss company in Japan. The term Waza means "art and technique" in Japanese. Simply a mastery that can only be gained through years of hard work.
