The Minibrute 2S is a desktop, analogue synthesizer with a wealth of custom sound creation options, a sophisticated sequencer for complex compositions and a semi-modular architecture that allows not only expressive modulation but also interfacing with increasingly popular eurorack modules.
The synth offers a pair of oscillators with different waveforms, a single waveform mixer and noise generator, a Steiner-Parker filter with adjustable clipping steepness, ADSR and AD envelope, two LFOs or a Brute Factor drive circuit. All parameters can be controlled directly from the front panel, giving you full control over the birth of your own sound.
The sequencer features sixteen pressure-sensitive pads with rotary knobs for pitch adjustment. Each sequence can be 64 steps long, and you can link individual sequences together to create an entire song. But that's not all. Breathe life into your composition with the second and third sequencers, which allow you to arrange the modulation progressions rhythmically. In addition, all sequences can be set to different lengths. As a result, each step can have a completely different sound and modulation.
Thanks to a patchbay of 48 connectors, you can sophisticatedly modulate the sound within the synth or connect the Minibrute 2S directly to a modular system, opening up absolutely unlimited possibilities for sound creation and modulation - in both directions.
Of course, there's also MIDI input and output or USB for connecting to your computer and other peripherals. Whether your set-up is digital or analogue, the Minibrute 2S will fit seamlessly into it.
