MPC Live II is a new generation standalone tool! Standalone, no need to connect to a PC or laptop. It has built-in speakers, a 7" touch screen, an integrated battery, plenty of inputs and outputs, and of course the original backlit MPC pads. It also works as a controller for MPC software or Ableton Live!
Second generation standalone MPC
Like the MPC X and MPC ONE, the MPC Live II functions fully as a standalone. The AKAI PRO MPC Live II is powered by the integrated MPC software, allowing users to use popular workflows familiar from previous versions. A seven-inch touchscreen display with multitouch functionality gives you access to all the functions needed to create a beat or recording from start to finish. MPC Live II features five new buttons for easier editing (Mute, Time correct, Mix).
MPC Software
The integrated control software (firmware) is frequently upgraded by the developers, so you can always discover new features and workflows that users have frequently requested. Simply upload a new firmware version via USB cable or, alternatively, via external disk.
Integrated speakers
The MPC LIVE II is the first in a long line of MPCs to offer custom speakers. The unobtrusive (built into the front panel, under a protective grille) but still powerful enough speakers offer adequate power and quality so that you can listen to your work in quality not only on headphones, but absolutely anywhere, which can be great for street performance, for example.
16GB sound library and instruments
The MPC Live II also has a rich sound library. A total of 16GB of high-quality samples and loops from renowned brands such as F9 Audio, Sonic Boom, Rawcutz, Sample Tools by Cr, Decap and more. Three separate synths are then integrated, Bassline, Tubesynth and Electric. For mixing and mastering, you'll certainly benefit from the tools provided by AIR Music.
