ADAM AUDIO T8V

ADAM Audio T8V is a new affordable two-band nearfield monitor designed especially for the production of music with a strong bass foundation (techno, dub, hip hop, reggae and similar). It is suitable for small to medium sized home studios and control rooms.

The T8V is equipped with an 8" bass driver with linear excursion, which covers frequencies up to 33 Hz. Above this we find the significant U-ART tweeter, which builds on the long legacy of ADAM Audio's manufacturing processes. With a frequency range of 25 kHz, it is unrivalled in its category. Another new feature of the T-Series is the implementation of an ear canal, which is based on the HPS system design of the flagship S-Series, optimizing efficiency, localization and at the same time expanding the optimal listening zone (sweetspot).

The chamfered leading edges of the skeleton reduce sound diffraction and optimize directivity. The speaker is compact (you can use it in a space-constrained room) and features a bassreflex on the back. The big change from the F Series is the integration of DSP switching and equalization.

Power for both drivers is provided by two Class D amplifiers, which power the 70 W (RMS) bass driver and 20 W (RMS) U-ART tweeter. When paired, the T8V achieves up to 114 dB SPL.
