Ibanez FRH classical electroacoustic guitars combine the sound of nylon strings with the playability of electric guitars. It features a compact, narrow body with a side sound port, a bottom cutout for easy access to even the highest positions of the fingerboard, a narrower zero fret (46 mm) and a flatter fingerboard radius. The absence of a soundhole on the soundboard makes the guitar much less susceptible to the usually undesirable feedback effect of sounding.
The front of the FRH10N-BSF is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated sapele. A walnut fingerboard with twenty-two frets is glued to a nyatoh wood neck with a comfortable "C" profile. The guitar's voicing is handled by an Ibanez T-bar subwoofer with an Ibanez Custom preamp. The strings are mounted in classical mechanics in gold finish and walnut fingerboard.
