FENDER Player Jazzmaster PF PWT (opened)

Fender Player Series electric guitars replace the popular Standard models. This is the brand's basic quality line with a clear plus in the form of price/quality ratio. The series will also attract attention with a renewed choice of colour finishes - you can now choose from Tidepool, Sage Green Metallic, Polar White and Buttercream finishes. Although these are not US-Made guitars (they are made in Ensenada, Mexico), they are also subject to a comprehensive quality control process.

The name Jazzmaster clearly suggests the original intent and purpose of this electric guitar with its typical offset body shape, but it has gained popularity elsewhere - among musicians in the alternative music scene, from surf rock to indie rock. The body of this instrument is made of alder with a gloss polyester lacquer finish. The bolt-on maple neck with a pleasing Modern C profile is joined by a pau ferro fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Position markers make it easy to navigate its surface.

The instrument's sound system is provided by two company-built humbuckers with Alnico magnets. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound character. Strings are mounted in a vintage floating tremolo, tuning stability is guaranteed by Standard Cast/Sealed mechanics. Traditional touches are complemented by a 1950s-style spaghetti logo and a three-layer pickguard, which also protects the instrument's lacquer from scratches.
