The construction of the SL3X DX MATTE ARM DRB consists of a poplar body and a through-molded maple neck with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The fig fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo frets. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riff playing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions. Position markers made of imitation Sharkfin pearl make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
The combination of three Duncan Designed pickups, i.e. a high output humbucker and two single-coils, gives the guitar a full dynamic sound with awesome sustain as well as the classic single-coil sound of a Stratocaster. The instrument can be used in a wide range of musical genres. For those who like to keep things in order, the Mini-Rail is not a traditional single-coil pickup, but a mini-humbucker the size of a single (the manufacturer lists it as a single-coil).
For sonic adjustments, there's a volume potentiometer, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch. The strings are housed in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and a Floyd Rose Special double-turn tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing.
For several decades, electric guitars from the American Jackson brand have appealed primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's roster of players.
