The front of the Grand Auditorium Rainbow Gc-LC 48mm model is made of Alpine spruce, while the back and sides are made of exotic cocobolo. The Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, a full-pore, high-gloss lacquer finish, improves the acoustic properties of the guitars, provides excellent surface protection and enhances the natural texture of the wood. The Furch CNR System's two-way neck bracing adds strength, stability and durability.
The ebony fingerboard surface is decorated with pearl position markers. The guitar's refined look is accentuated by the Hawaiian koa body and wedge binding with contrasting lines, pearl abalone headstock inlay complemented by black and white lines, premium Hawaiian koa and abalone rosette, exotic cocobolo headstock and tailpiece, and ebony fingerboard pegs with pearl dots. Stable tuning is guaranteed by high-quality Gotoh mechanisms.
The guitar comes in a luxurious moulded case.
Few Czech products have such a worldwide reputation as Furch guitars. The company started in 1981 in one of the many garages of socialist Czechoslovakia, still illegal at the time. Today, the company's acoustic guitars are played by Suzanne Vega, Glen Hansard, David Knopfler, Aneta Langerová, David Koller, Xavier Baumaxa and many others. Furch guitars are best advertised by their reputation.
